Death
Sympathy of her many friends was extended to Mrs. FRED THOMAS, the former ANNA PETERSON, whose husband passed away in Fruitvale yesterday after a brief illness. Before her marriage, Mrs. THOMAS was with the telephone company here and had hosts of friends. Her husband was a prominent merchant in Fruitvale, and the stores there will close for the period of the funeral tomorrow.
