MAUD GOODSHOT
Funeral for Maud E. GoodShot of San Rafael, a native American Indian, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Keaton’s Mortuary.
She died Sunday in a local hospital after a long illness. She was 76.
Mrs. GoodShot was born in Boston, Mass. She was a princess in the Passamaquoddy Tribe in Maine. She lived most of her life there, moving to San Rafael ten years ago.
She was a life member of the Native American Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Jela GoodShot Hicks of San Francisco; two sisters, Lauretta Dowd and Agatha Dowd and a brother, William T. Dowd Jr., all of Boston, Mass.
Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery.
