SCHYBERG, Marilyn -- Of Novato, CA died March 5, 2002 after a short battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 44 years James, son Eric and his wife Wendy Schyberg of Petaluma and their three children - Elisabeth, Emma and David; son Brian of Sacramento and daughter Carol of Sacramento. Marilyn was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and Tri Gamma sororities, active in the San Marin Improvement Association and a founding Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack 186 in San Marin. After a 22 year career as a top salesperson for Sears in Terra Linda, Marilyn retired and enjoyed spending time attending SF Giants games, traveling with Jim and hanging out with her grandchildren. In addition, she became an active volunteer for the local American Cancer Society and Hospice stores and worked at McDonald's Jewelers part-time. Memorial Services to be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday March 13, 2002 at Open Door Christian Church, 16 5th Street, Petaluma, CA 94952. Marilyn requested that donations be sent to Hospice of Marin, 150 Nellen Avenue, Corte Madera, CA 94925.
