EDITH E. HULBERT
Funeral will be Tuesday for Edith E. Hulbert of Ukiah, a former resident of Marin for 40 years, at 1 p.m. at the Fred Young and Co. mortuary, 428 N. West St., Cloverdale.
Mrs. Hulbert died Saturday at a Ukiah hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 85.
A native of Oregon, Mrs. Hulbert moved to San Francisco as a child. She lived for many years in Marin County with her late husband, Marion Hulbert, who owned a ranch in Rancho Nicasio. She left the state when her husband died, about 15 years ago, and then returned in 1970 and lived in San Anselmo for about two years.
Mrs. Hulbert moved to Yorkville in 1972.
She is survived by three sons, Marion O. Hulbert of San Rafael, Dan O. Hulbert of Alameda and Richard W. Hulbert of Roseville; four daughters, Laverne W. Hulbert of Woodacre, Iris Salisbury of San Anselmo, Lorraine Shubin of San Francisco and Juanita Bullard of Ukiah; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Local arrangements are at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael where visitation is today from noon until 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial is at Yorkville Cemetery, Yorkville.
