James McNab, S.F. Businessman Dies
James McNab, on the of the leaders in San Francisco’s business life, and known in this county, died at his home in San Francisco Monday as the result of a stroke of apoplexy.
McNab was taken ill in December a few days after he had attended court here in the hearing of a suit growing out of a trespass case filed by the Tomales Bay Oyster company, of which he was the principal owner. McNab was in court here several days.
He was a brother of Gavin, John L., Charles and Arthur McNab, all prominent men in politics and business circles. He built up the great drayage business of McNab & Smith.
