Edna E. Strahle

November 1914 - March 2002 "Eddie" passed away peacefully on March 8, 2002 at Silverado Senior Living in Encinitas, California. Her humor, strength, and dignity will be remembered by all whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Eddie lived most of her life in San Francisco and Marin County. Born in San Francisco in November 1914, she moved to San Diego in 1996 to be close to her family. Eddie was a beautician and model and was still modeling into her forties. Eddie married Fred Strahle in 1934 and they had one son Robert Lee Strahle born in 1937 who predeceased her in 1982. Eddie is survived by her two grandchildren Kimberly Lee and Scott Strahle, and five great-grandchildren. There will be a party in her honor on April 27, 2002.
