JOHN G. LAKE IV

The funeral for John Graham Lake IV, a former Petaluma resident, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Petaluma.

Mr. Lake died Monday in Portland, Ore. He was 21.

He was born in Portland but moved to Petaluma with his family as a youngster. Mr. Lake attended Petaluma High School and San Antonio High School in Petaluma before transferring to the Sward Tech Vocational Center in Seward, Alaska.

He later worked in several canneries in Chaevak, Alaska. Recently, Mr. Lake moved to Portland to attend chef’s school.

He is survived by his parents, John and Jean Lake of Chaevak, Alaska; a brother, Michael A. Lake of Alaska; two sisters, Linda Lake of Corte Madera and Angela Lake of Alaska; and his grandmother, Lottie Hunnsaker of Witchita, Kans.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Saturday at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary in Petaluma. Burial will be at Cypress Hill Memorial Park.
