Joseph F. Klein Jr.
Funeral for Joseph F. Klein Jr. of Novato, retired Air Force sergeant and Petaluma school district employee, will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Redwood Chapel mortuary in Novato.
Klein, 58, died Friday at a local hospital after becoming ill unexpectedly at work Friday.
A native of Bayonne, N.J., he had served 23 years in the Air Force and during that time was stationed in New York, Texas, Sacramento, Ikinawa, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
He was stationed at Hamilton Air Force Base in 1966, and later retired with the rank of master sergeant.
For the last five years, he had worked as a groundskeeper for the Petaluma School District.
Survivors are his wife, Mie Klein of Novato; two daughters, Carol and Linda Klein of Novato; three brothers, Thomas, John and Stephen Klein of New Jersey; three sisters, Betty Chambers and Anna Regazzo of New Jersey, and Barbara McCarthy of St. Louis, Mo., and his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Klein of New Jersey.
Burial will be at Marin Memorial Gardens.
