Mrs. Ray Longfellow Of Larkspur Dies After Long Illness

Mrs. Ellen M. Longfellow, wife of L. Ray Longfellow, deputy sheriff and court house maintenance man, passed away at her home in Larkspur, Monday after an illness of several months. She was 60 yeas of age, and besides her husband leaves a son, Clifford J. of Larkspur; two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Miles and Mrs. Walter Gilbert; a brother, Frank Twomey, all of Seattle.

Funeral service will be held Friday forenoon at 9:30 from the Keaton & Dusel chapel, San Rafael, thence to St. Patrick’s Church, Larkspur, at 10 a.m., with interment at Mt. Olivet.

Mrs. Longfellow had been active in church and club work for a long time. She was a member of Larkspur Circle No. 166, U.A.O.D., and t he Legion of Mary of St. Patrick’s Church, and was a leader in community activity. She was a native of Ireland, and leaves a host of friends to mourn her passing.
