WITHERS, Stanley Lloyd -- Entered into eternal rest surrounded by his family in Santa Rosa on Mon. June 25, 2001 at the age of 83. A third generation San Franciscan and lifelong resident of that city until moving to Santa Rosa two years ago. Dearly beloved husband of Claire Mowry Withers; loving father of Joan (the late Richard) Dinner of Kenwood, Anne (Brian) O'Dea of Alamo, Catherine (Morey) Serpa of Santa Rosa and Elizabeth (Thomas) Kuhn of Mill Valley; cherished grandfather of Christopher and Elizabeth O'Dea, Joshua and Jonathan Serpa & Kevin and Catherine Kuhn; proud great-grandfather of Jalynn Serpa; dear friend and brother-in-law of Charles Mowry of Sacramento. He was a faithful parishioner of St. Cecilia's Church in San Francisco for over fifty years; he was a proud member of the Knight of St. Cecilia's until he moved to Santa Rosa in 1999. Friends are invited to attend a Rosary on Tues. June 26, 2001 at 7:30 PM at Lafferty & Smith Colonial Chapel, 4321 Sonoma Hwy., Santa Rosa, CA. Friends are also invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Wed. June 27, 2001 at 11:00 AM at Star of the Valley Catholic Church, 545 White Oak Drive (Oakmont), Santa Rosa, CA. Private entombment, Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Santa Rosa. Visitation will be held at the COLONIAL CHAPEL, on Tues. June 26, 2001 after 3:00 PM.
