CARMEN J. CHAVEZ
Age 88, widow of I. Paul Chavez of San Rafael, died October 29, 2001 in Carson City, Nevada. She was surrounded by her three surviving daughters, Josephine Pickens Varner, Carmen G. Fraga and Helen J. Chavez. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be conducted by Keaton Mortuary, San Rafael. A Rosary will take place on Thursday evening, November 1 at 7:00 p.m. and a Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael Church Friday, November 2, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt.
