NABIL KHALIL
A memorial service for Nabil Khalil of Sausalito was held Monday at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward.
Mr. Khalil, who had been a grocery store owner in Sausalito for about a year, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 1988, at Marin General Hospital after collapsing at home with a heart attack.
Mr. Khalil and his wife had moved to Sausalito from the San Leandro-Fremont area, where he owned a grocery store.
Friends described him as a religious family man, who regularly attended services at St. Antonius Coptic Church in Hayward.
Mr. Khalil is survived by his wife, Madlain Khalil; two children, Linda, 17, and Mark, 14; a brother, who is a monk in Egypt; and his sister and mother, also of Egypt.
