ISRAEL CAMHI
Milk company owner
Israel Camhi of Mill Valley, a retired milk company owner, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 1990, at St. Francis Convalescent Hospital in Daly City, He was 90.
Mr. Camhi was born in Momastir, Turkey, and came to the United States when he was 14. He spent most of his life in Rochester, N.Y., where he owned and operated the Camhi Milk Co.
He moved to Marin last year to be near his daughter, Betty Camhi of Mill Valley.
Mr. Camhi was a lifetime member of the Yonnandio Masonic Lodge in Rochester.
His wife, Anita Alboher Camhi, died earlier. In addition to his daughter, he is survived by a son, Emmanuel Camhi of Massapeaqua, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Thursday at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
