Joseph Souza, who was kicked by a horse some days previously while working on a ranch north of San Rafael, died at a local hospital last Friday. He was 44 years old and the brother of John, Manuel, Antone and George Souza. The funeral was held Monday at St. Raphael’s Church and burial under the direction of the F. E. Sawyer Company, was made in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
