EUGENE HARNWELL
Eugene Harnwell of Fairfax, a retired ship’s carpenter at the California Maritime Academy, died today at a local hospital after a long illness. He was 80 years old.
He lived with his wife, Josephine Harnwell, at 190 Ridgeway Avenue, Fairfax, and had been a Marin resident for 30 years. He was a native of San Francisco, and a member of Crocker Lodge 454, Free and Accepted Masons, Daly City.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Robert Harnwell of San Francisco; three sisters (sic), Mrs. Mildred Koepke of Fairfax, Mrs. Marjorie O’Shea of Burlingame and Marion Harnwell of Fairfax; a sister, Mildre (sic) Sawyer of Concord; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending at N. Grey and Co., San Francisco.
