NEWTON ANDERSON
Newton Anderson of San Francisco, father of Dr. Glenn Anderson of San Rafael, died yesterday in a rest home in Agua Caliente, Sonoma County, where he had been for eight months. He was 87 years old.
Anderson had worked as a custodian in Eugene, Ore., until his retirement several years ago. He was a native of Denmark and a member of the Blue River Masonic Lodge in Eugene.
He leaves his wife, Leona Anderson now staying with Dr. Anderson in San Rafael; two other sons, Walter Anderson of Cotati, and Chester M. Anderson of Eugene; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Gothic Chapel of Mountain View Cemetery.
