ALBERT SONNTAG
Retired engineer

Albert Sonntag of Novato died Monday, April 16, 1990, at home after a lengthy illness. He was 65.

Mr. Sonntag was born in Germany. He and his wife came to the United States in 1958 and settled in Marin. They were residents of Marin for 32 years, living most of that time in San Anselmo.

He was retired from Pacific Telephone Co. after a 22-year career as an engineer.

He enjoyed his home on the water at Bel Marin Keys for the past three years and was an avid boater.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Sonntag of Novato; two sons, Albert Sonntag Jr. and Roy Michael Sonntag, both of Novato; and a daughter, Connie Sharon Tindal of Novato.

A private service was held at his request Tuesday.

The family prefers contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
