Former Pacific Bell executive
Janet R. Cox of Sausalito died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 27, 1990, at her home. She was 61.
Miss Cox was born in San Diego. She lived in Marin more than 30 years.
Miss Cox was retired. She had previously worked as an executive for Pacific Bell in San Francisco for 34 years.
She enjoyed boating and picnicking and other outdoors activities, including football games.
“She loved the out-of-doors; she loved nature; she loved pets, particularly dogs,” said her sister, Shirley Cathcart of Reno.
Miss Cox is also survived by another sister, Carol Stanley of Reno; and one brother, Ervan J. Cox of Olympia, Wash.
Services were held.
Arrangements are by Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose.
