CHARLES MURPHY
Funeral for Charles Eugene Murphy, 84, of Petaluma, was held today at Sorensen Funeral Home, Petaluma. Private inurnment was at Cypress Hill Memorial Park.
Murphy died Friday at a local hospital after a short illness. A native of Fort Wayne, Ind., he had formerly been employed by Libby Owens Glass Co.
Murphy had lived in Petaluma at 10 Bassett Street for 10 years and was self-employed as a handyman.
He is survived by two daughters, Helen Anderson of Petaluma and Claire Jean Nordstrom of Cupertino, and eight grandchildren.
