COTTLE – In San Rafael, Nov. 2, 1978, John Edward Cottle, formerly of San Francisco; dear husband of Mary Cottle; dear father of John F. Cottle; dear father-in-law of Elizabeth Cottle; dear brother of Joseph Cottle; dear brother-in-law of Marie Cottle; dear grandfather of Kenneth and Karen Cottle; survived by many nieces an nephews. A native of California, aged 78 years. A member of the Retired San Francisco Postal Clerks and National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral Monday, Nov. 6, 1978, at 9:30 a.m. at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael, thence to Church of Saint Raphael where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 10 a.m. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma. Rosary services will be recited at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael, at 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, 1978. Spiritual bouquets preferred.
