Lucien Codo Died Here Monday

Lucien Codo, husband of Adelaide Codo, and father of Lucille Codo, a native of France, aged 49 years, died Monday in this city.

Friends attended the funeral Wednesday, December 21, 1927, at 9:30 o’clock a.m. from St. Raphael’s church, where a requiem high mass was celebrated for the repose of his soul. Interment, Holy Cross cemetery. Friends called at Keaton & Dusel’s parlor, San Rafael, who made all arrangements for the funeral.

The deceased owns considerable real property in this section.

Louie Codo, as he was familiarly known among his many friends and acquaintances, has resided in this city for a number of years, where he took an interest in building investments. At the time of his death he owned the building where Buck’s Pool Room is located; the post office building, which he built several years ago on Fourth street. Besides this business property he has erected a home near Highlands, where the family lived, after moving from their Third street residence.

Codo was a member of San Rafael Aerie, Order of Eagles, and Genessee Tribe of Red Men.
