BARBARA G. YATES
Resident of Mill Valley
Barbara G. Yates of Mill Valley died unexpectedly at home Monday, Aug. 20, 1990, after an illness. She was 51.
Mrs. Yates was born in San Francisco. She graduated from Tamalpais High School in 1958 and had resided in Marin for the past 35 years.
She was a beautician and house cleaner.
She is survived by three sisters, Gail Yates Kloster of San Francisco, Julie Simonson of Petaluma and Vicki Lee of Anchorage, Alaska; and two brothers, the Rev. Mack Yates of Emmett, Idaho, and Merlin Yates of Redwood City.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley.
Her family asked that memorial contributions go to a favorite charity.
