WILLIAM C. WENTE
A memorial service for William C. Wente of Mill Valley, a retired university instructor, will be at 3 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Neptune Society Columbarium, 1 Lorraine Court, San Francisco.
Mr. Wente died at his home Saturday, Oct. 31, 1987. He was 61. He had lived in Mill Valley for the past 23 years.
In 1956, Mr. Wente joined the faculty of San Francisco State University where he taught broadcast communication arts until his retirement last year.
Before working at San Francisco State, he was both a news director and an announcer for radio and television stations in New Mexico.
