ALROY WEISS
Manager for Pacific Bell
Alroy Weiss of San Rafael died Saturday, Oct. 27, 1990, at Marin General Hospital following a short illness. He was 70.
He was born and raised in San Francisco, where he lived until moving to Marin County in 1952. He had lived in San Rafael for the past 38 years.
Mr. Weiss worked for 38 years with Pacific Bell Telephone, most of that in Marin County, as a manager in the installation and repair group. He retired in 1978.
He was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America, the Marin Rod and Gun Club and the Elks Organization in Marin County.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia; two brothers, Warren Weiss of San Francisco and John Weiss of Kentfield; one nephew and two nieces. His oldest sister, Florence McKown, died last year.
No services will be held at his request.
Memorial donations are preferred to the American Lung Association of the Redwood Empire, P.O. Box 1482, Santa Rosa, CA 95402.
Local arrangements are by Mount Tamalpais Mortuary in San Rafael.
