Mae Widmeyer
Mae “Skip” Widmeyer, a longtime Marin resident, died Thursday at her Mill Valley home after a long illness. She was 82.
Mrs. Widmeyer, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., had lived in Mill Valley for about 60 years. During World War II, she worked at Marinship in Sausalito.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.
Mrs. Widmeyer is survived by a foster son, Frank Dittle Sr. of Mill Valley, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
At her request, there will be no service. The family prefers contributions to the American Heart Association.
