EDITH BENDEL
San Rafael centenarian
Edith Bendel of San Rafael died Oct. 23, 1990, at the Rafael Convalescent Hospital in San Rafael. She was 102.
Mrs. Bendel was born in Arkansas. She lived most of her life in San Francisco before moving to Marin 12 years ago.
She is survived by a niece, Edna Strahle of Greenbrae. Her husband, William Bendel, and a daughter, Doris Szeghy, died earlier.
Services were private. Burial was in Olivet Memorial Park in Colma.
Arrangements were by Arthur J. Sullivan & Co. in San Francisco.
