Death Calls For Pioneer Woman

A life of seventy-three years, fifty of which were passed in San Rafael, ended last Friday with the death of Mrs. Julia Haley at her home in San Rafael.

The funeral was held Monday, with services at St. Raphael’s Church which were attended by many sorrowing friends of the deceased and her family. A requiem mass was celebrated.

Mrs. Haley was the widow of the late Dennis Haley, whose death occurred in 1884. Her children, all of whom survive her, are Daniel J., James L., Julia A. and Harry J. Haley.

Interment was made in Mount Olivet cemetery, under the direction of the F. E. Sawyer Company.
