ELEANOR BAKER
Lifelong Marin resident
Sausalito native and longtime Mill Valley resident Eleanor Gertrude Baker died June 23 in Kentfield after a brief illness. She was 89.
Mrs. Baker was a graduate of Tamalpais High School. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed working in her garden.
She was predeceased by her husband, William G. Baker.
She is survived by three children, Barbara Quinn of Sacramento, Gloria Meyer of Burney, and William Baker, Jr. of San Jose; brother, Robert Sandstrom, and sister, Virginial Soliss (sic), both of Medford, Ore.; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
No services were held.
