LINDSAY TRIMBLE
A memorial service for Lindsay Trimble of San Rafael will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Aldersgate Methodist Church, 220 Nova Albion Way, San Rafael.
He died Saturday in his home. He was 56.
He was a native of Florida and for some years was in the dairy business with his family before coming to Marin. He was an employee of the San Rafael Parks and Recreation Department and formerly was with the Borden dairy in San Rafael.
He was active in Parents Without Partners. The Rev. Jim Hutchison, pastor of Aldersgate Methodist, said Trimble also liked to assist a wide circle of friends on such projects as gardening and building walls.
He is survived by two daughters, Lynn Scheibach and Gayle Trimble; a son, Tim Trimble; three sisters, Margaret Hughes, Mary Moore and Audrey Arnold; a brother, Henry Trimble; and his father, W. L. Trimble.
Private inurnment will be held.
