FOREST G. BURNETT
Forest Grove Burnett, 97, of Corte Madera, died Saturday in a local convalescent hospital after a brief illness.
Burnett was born in Kansas City, Mo., and lived most of his life in Jefferson City, Mo. He moved to Marin two years ago to live with a daughter, Kay Dent.
He was a retired railroad worker.
He also is survived by a brother, William Burnett of Oklahoma, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. His wife, Lura, died about 30 years ago.
Funeral and burial will be in Jefferson City.
