MARY V. COLLINS
A private funeral was held Friday in Petaluma for Mary Veronica Collins of Petaluma, mother of deChantal Riley of Corte Madera.
Mrs. Collins died Friday at a local hospital after short illness. She was 71.
A native of Philadelphia, Mrs. Collins spent most of her life there. She and her husband, James Collins, had recently moved to Petaluma.
Mrs. Collins was a retired secretary and homemaker.
She is also survived by a brother, Charles J. McClernan of Philadelphia; two sisters, Eleanor E. Becher and Regina M. Murray of Philadelphia; and three grandsons.
Inurnment was private.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds the names of her grandsons: James, John and Thomas Riley, all of Corte Madera.
