Geraldine Patricia Halvorsen of San Rafael died today at Ross General Hospital. She was 69.
Arrangements were pending at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.

GERALDINE P. HALVORSEN
Geraldine P. Halvorsen of San Rafael, a longtime Marin resident, died Thursday at Ross General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 69.
Mrs. Halvorsen was born in Belvedere and had spent 17 years in San Francisco before returning to Marin to live in San Rafael. She was a 52-year resident of Marin County.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Portuguese Society in Sausalito.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley F. Halvorsen Sr. of San Rafael; two sons, Stanley Halvorsen II of Mill Valley and Robert Halvorsen of San Rafael; two daughters, Jennie Halvorsen of San Francisco and Karen Prochnow of Redwood City; five brothers, Percy Coleman of Millbrae, Leroy Coleman of San Rafael, Lawrence Coleman of Tiburon, Alfred Coleman of Magalia in Butte County and Vernon Coleman of Redwood City; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be private. The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to St. Anthony’s Dining Room or the American Cancer Society.

A Death Notice in the same paper lists her grandchildren: Cloud and Joshua Halvorsen Jaime and Thomas Prochnow; she was the daughter of the late Louise Averill and Patrick Coleman, and sister of the late Charles Coleman of Eureka and Delores Summers of Healdsburg; aunt of 3 nephews and 10 nieces.
