MANUEL MANCEBO

Manuel Mancebo, a lifetime Marin resident and former ice deliveryman in Sausalito, died Monday at Marin General Hospital after a brief illness. He was 95.

Mr. Macebo was an ice man for 35 years until he retired in 1953. He also had worked at a soda bottling factory in Sausalito.

He was born in Sausalito in 1890 and lived there until 1959, when he moved to San Anselmo.

Mr. Mancebo is survived by four daughters, Margaret Adams of New Plymouth, Ida., Diana Rice of Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo County, Marion Switzer of San Rafael and Loretta Cordova of San Anselmo; two sons, Milton Mancebo of San Rafael and Lester Mancebo of San Anselmo;12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A private service was held today.

The family prefers memorial gifts to Hospice of Marin, 77 Mark Drive, San Rafael, 94903.
