ISABEL HALVORSEN
Isabel Halvorsen of Greenbrae died Saturday at the home of her niece in Ross. She was 81.
She was a native of San Francisco and moved to Marin about 10 years ago.
Mrs. Halvorsen was an active member of the Young at Heart group at St. Sebastian’s Church in Greenbrae.
Her husband, Henry Halvorsen, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Halvorsen is survived by two nieces, Roberta Groth of Ross and Patricia Falconer of Long Beach, and two nephews, William Lynch of Greenbrae and Leon Bridges of Danville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Sebastian’s Church. The rosary will be recited today at 8:30 p.m. at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.
Friends may visit at the mortuary today after 5 p.m.
Entombment will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
