JESSIE R. THOMAS
Burial for Jessie R. Thomas, 82, of Mill Valley will be at Pioneer Cemetery in Calistoga.
Mrs. Thomas, widow of Glenn E. Thomas of Marysville, died Friday at a local hospital after a long illness.
She had been a commercial artist and an associate professor of art at San Jose State College for 13 years.
Mrs. Thomas had been a resident of Sausalito and Mill Valley for the past 30 years.
She was born in Calistoga, a member of a pioneer family.
Surviving are two daughters, Rachel Goy and Mary Thomas, both of Mill Valley; a sister, Lelia Crouch of Mill Valley; and a granddaughter.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Neptune Society, San Francisco.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to a favorite charity.
