Anne L. Grimm
Private funeral for Anne L. Grimm of Merced, who had lived in Woodacre for 50 years, was held today at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo. Burial was in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
Mrs. Grimm, 83, died unexpectedly of natural causes Wednesday in a Merced restaurant.
Mrs. Grimm was a native of Nebraska. She moved to Rohnert Park in 1973, and to Merced in 1977.
She worked for many years for Yosemite Park & Curry Co.
Her late husband, Clarence C. Grimm, was killed in an accident in 1932 while investigating a fire. He was a warden for the Tamalpais Forest Fire District, the predecessor of the Main County Fire Department.
She is survived by two sons, Arthur Grimm of Fairfax, and Donald Grimm of Santa Rosa; two daughter, Helen Reed of Santa Rosa and Marian Linebaugh of Merced; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
