MARY GUIS

Mass of the Resurrection for Mary J. Guis of Fairfax will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at St. Monica’s Church at 23rd Avenue and Geary Boulevard in San Francisco.

Mrs. Guis, 67, died Monday in a San Francisco hospital after a short illness.

She was born in San Francisco. With her husband, the late Dr. Enea Guis, she moved to Fairfax 25 years ago and lived at 25 Mountain View Avenue. She had been a housewife all of her adult life. Her husband had a medical practice in San Francisco.

Mrs. Guis is survived by five sisters, Lucille McGovern, Eleanor Heath and Jeanne Heath, all of Mill Valley and Phyllis Fincher of Longmont, Colo.

Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at Carew and English Funeral Home at Masonic and Golden Gate Avenues, San Francisco. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.

Memorial donations to a favorite charity would be preferred by the family.

The fifth sister is mentioned in a death notice in the same paper; she was Georgia Heath. Mary Guis was the daughter of the late George and Delia Heath.
