RALPH D. HEROLD
Termite service owner
Ralph D. Herold of San Rafael, owner of Herold & Associates Termite Service, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 1990, at home. He was 56.
Mr. Herold, a native of Sonora, had lived in Marin more than 35 years.
Mr. Herold served in the Navy in Hawaii during the Korean conflict.
He was the owner of Herold & Associates Termite Service for 10 years. He previously worked for another termite control service in Marin.
Mr. Herold enjoyed working around the house on projects ranging from upholstery to carpentry.
He is survived by his wife, Mary C. Herold of San Rafael; a daughter, Donna Romberger of San Rafael; four sons, Daniel C. Herold of San Anselmo, David C. Herold of Rohnert Park, Douglas C. Herold of San Rafael and Dominic C. Herold of San Rafael; a sister, Florence M. Kole of Sonora; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at Chapel of the Hills Mortuary in San Anselmo. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Mission Archangel in San Rafael.
Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
The family prefers memorial gifts to Marin Aid for Retarded Children.
