HELEN KERWIN
Mrs. Helen Steiner Kerwin, 61, of 230 El Prado Avenue, Raphael Meadows, San Rafael, died yesterday in a San Francisco hospital after a sort illness.
A native of Manor, Pa., she had served more than two years in the Air Force, and was discharged in 1945. She had lived in Marin County since 1945.
She was a member of Irwin Chapter No. 400, Order of Eastern Star of Irwin, Pa.
She is survived by her husband, M/Sgt. (ret.) James Kerwin, at home; one sister, Mrs. Delitha Wilson of Westmoreland County, Pa., and a brother, John Naly of Manor, Pa.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo, under the auspices of the Fairfax Chapter 594 Order of Eastern Star. Interment will be private.
