BELLA KOEHNCKE

Memorial services for Bella Koehncke of San Rafael will be Saturdy at 2 p.m. at the Aldersley Danish Home in San Rafael.

Mrs. Koehncke died Saturday, July 4, 1987, at the Danish Retirement Home in San Rafael after a long illness. She was 91.

She was a native of Denmark and a past president of the Danish Relief Society of San Francisco and the Danish American Women’s Club.

A friend described Mrs. Koehncke as a “sweet, outgoing person…kind and she just loved to have guests and do things for her guests.”

She is survived by many relatives and friends in California and Denmark.

Her husband, Willy Koehncke, died in 1979.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Aldersly Danish Home, 326 Mission Ave., San Rafael.
