MRS. LYDON
Agnes Veronica Lydon, a resident of Sausalito for about 20 years, died yesterday in a Sausalito rest home after a short illness. She was 81.
She was a native of Edina, Mo., and active in Democratic politics in the county.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Furlong of Belvedere and Jane Ann Parisian of Los Angeles; a sister, Beatrice Gibbons of Edina, Mo., and three grandchildren. She lived in Marin until shortly after World War II. She returned only recently.
Her son, Thomas, was killed in Germany during World War II and is listed on a plaque in Sausalito commemorating the city’s war dead.
Requiem mass will be said tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Mission chapel of the church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Harry Williams Mortuary. Burial will be at Mount Olivet cemetery in San Rafael.
