Lt. Col Merlin V. Lamb

Lt. Col. Merlin V. Lamb U.S.A.F. retired died Friday at a veterans hospital in San Francisco. He was 67.

A native of Youngstown, Ohio, he has lived in Novato for the last five years. Prior to that time he lived in Arizona and Colorado as well as in Japan and in Labrador.

He was a career office in the U.S. Air Force having served in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1964.

He was a member of Epes Randolph Lodge No. 32 of Tucson, AZ and Gutherie Consistory Royal Arch Masons, Gutherie, OK.

Survivors include two daughters Theila C. Banta of Novato, and Margaret Rice of San Antonio, Tex.; two sisters, Albert Lamb and Dorothy May Oliphant, both of Youngstown, Ohio; and one grandchild.

At his request, no funeral will be held.

Contributions may be made to Masonic Home Fund.
