Mrs. RACHEL DICKSON, Marin Pioneer, Dies
Mrs. Rachel Jane Dickson, 90 years old, passed away at her home at 101 H Street where she has lived for several years.
Mrs. Dickson was born in Vermont in 1842, and came to California in 1865 by way of the Panama Canal. In the same year, she was married to John Calvin Dickson and lived in the San Geronimo Valley 40 years. She moved to San Rafael in 1906.
She is survived by 4 children: Miss Mary E., Miss Nettie M., Robert Edwin Dickson, and Mrs. Albert Dewing, all residents of Marin County.
Mrs. Dickson was a charter member of the San Rafael Presbyterian Church. Private services will be held Wednesday, June 1, at 2:00 p.m. at the late residence.
