Henri Lefevre Succumbs At 82

Henri F. H. Lefevre, 82, of San Rafael suffered a heart attack last evening at the Greenbrae home of his daughter, Mrs. Madeleine L. Powers, and died en route to a hospital.

A 30-year resident of the county, Lefevre resided at 17 Mary street for 10 years. Born in France, he came to California via Canada. He lived near Folsom, Sacramento County, for six years. Until his retirement 10 years ago, he worked as a laborer.

His wife, Marie Louise, died in 1943. He is survived by two sons and two daughters in addition to Mrs. Powers. They are Henry F. Lefevre of Placerville, Mrs. Marie L. Cook of San Quentin, George E. Lefevre and Alice F. Lefevre, both of San Rafael.

A High Mass of Requiem will be offered Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Church, following services at Harry M. Williams Mortuary at 9 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at the mortuary chapel tomorrow at 8 p.m.

A Death Notice in the same paper mentions his grandchildren, Rene Lefevre of Sacramento and Mrs. Claudia Johnson of Hayward, and states that he was a native of St. Brieuc, Brittany, France.
