LEVENSALER – Died on Jan. 26, 1994, of a long illness in San Rafael at the Villa Marin. James Lawrence Levensaler was 86 years old. Larry was born in Lakeport, Calif., and resided in Novato for 30 years before moving to Villa Marin. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in engineering. He worked as a mechanical engineer for PG&E Company for 41 years. He was a member of the Valley Baptist Church in San Rafael. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of 54 years, his sister Elizabeth of Sacramento, two children, Sandra of Oakland and Donald of Chico, and five grandchildren.

Friends are invited to attend visitation beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, at the mortuary. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 31, at Keaton’s. Interment at St. Helena Cemetery, St. Helena. The family prefers contributions to the Valley Baptist Church, 3 North Pedro Road, San Rafael, Calif., 94903 or your favorite charity.
