JOHN LEVIE
General contrctor
John Levie, a former Woodacre resident and Marinship worker who was involved in building Liberty ships during World War II, died at Vacavalley Convalescent Home in Vacaville on Aug. 1, He was 97.
Mr. Levie had his own business as a general contractor in the Woodacre area, where he built many homes. He also enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
