KATHERINE M. DOYLE
San Anselmo resident
Services will be Tuesday for Katherine M. Doyle of San Anselmo, who died Friday at age 84.
Mrs. Doyle was born in San Francisco, and moved to San Anselmo in 1917.
She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for various local firms, and also stayed home raising three children.
For more than 60 years, Mrs. Doyle was very active in St. Anselm’s Young Ladies Institute. She was a member of St. Anselm’s Catholic Church.
She was married to the late William R. Doyle.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Hawk of Novato and Kathleen Doyle of San Anselmo; a son, William J. Doyle of San Anselmo; a sister, Loretta O’Rourke of San Anselmo; a brother, Joseph O’Rourke of Davis; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, James O’Rourke, and a sister, Marguerite Werner, have died.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Anselm’s Church in San Anselmo. Vigil services will be recited at 9:30 a.m., prior to the Mass.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hanna Boy’s Center or to the American Heart Association.
Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael is in charge of arrangements.
