ALBERT J. DAIR
Deputy district attorney

Albert J. Dair, Marin County’s first Asian-American deputy district attorney, died of pancreatic cancer July 31. He was 44.

He was a San Francisco native and graduated from San Francisco State University and Golden Gate University.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and like classic and high-performance cars.

Mr. Dair is survived by his wife, Pansy Dea Dair; children, Kirsten Dair and Desmond Dair, both of Novato; parents, May and Edward Dair of San Francisco; and brothers, Gilbert Dair of San Francisco and Robert Dair of Novato.

A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Novato at 10 a.m. Saturday, with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Albert Dair Memorial Fund, c/o Marin County Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 4218, San Rafael 94913.
