Mother of Mrs. Gene Robinson Succumbs
Mary Elizabeth Maddux, Santa Rosa pioneer and mother of Mrs. Eugene Robinson of San Anselmo, died last Friday at her home at Fulton, near Santa Rosa, following an illness of ten days.
She leaves her husband, Jefferson D. Maddux, with whom she celebrated her 53rd wedding anniversary last July 10. Another daughter, Marion Maddux Procter, wife of Tom Procter, real estate man, and a son, Deputy Attorney Jos. Maddux, both of Santa Rosa, also survive.
She was the sister of E. R. Polheumus of Sacramento, Mrs. Harry Coonsand and Mrs. H. N. Murray of Elk Grove, and Mrs. H. C. Ray of Vallejo. Miss Anne Robinson and Eugene Robinson III of San Anselmo are grandchildren.
The funeral was held Monday at the Church of the Incarnation. Burial followed at the family plot in Shiloh cemetery, Santa Rosa.
