Robert Austin Blakeslee
A funeral has been held in Florida for Robert Austin Blakeslee, a former Kentfield resident, who died April 5 in Mount Dora, Fla.
Mr. Blakeslee was a retired executive vice-president of Eaton & Howard Inc. of Boston, Mass., an investment firm.
He was born in Springfield, Mass., and had lived for a time in Kentfield. In 1974, he moved to Florida.
He was a graduate of Colgate University and was a lieutenant colonel in the Army during World War II.
His first wife, Barbara Neal Blakeslee, died in 1974.
He is survived by his second wife, Katherine; two daughters, Lucia Landon Blakeslee Halliday of Oakland and Ann Austin Blakeslee of Alfred, Maine, and a sister, Ruth Austin Blakeslee of Wilbrahan, Mass.
Inurnment was in Springfield, Mass.
